Welcome to the Snow Index to Brunswick Newspapers
This is an index to microfilm
of the Brunswick weekly newspapers for 1853 through
December, 1960. This index was created by Richard Snow with
additional indexing contributions from John Goff. Online publication
has been supported by the
Times Record, the
Bowdoin College Library,
and the Curtis Memorial Library.
For additional information about the Snow Index, please see
the introduction.
Please note that this is an index to citations, NOT an index that leads
to online full text.
Where to find Brunswick newspaper microfilm
Microfilm of the
Brunswick Telegraph, the Brunswick Record, and the Times Record is
available for you to use at the Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick.
Microfilms are located on the first floor of the Library, in the "glass
room" located between the lending services desk and the downstairs
reference desk. Staff at the downstairs reference desk can help you
find film and load it on the microfilm reader-printer. Prints are 10c
each.
If you're not planning to visit us, the staff of the Curtis Memorial
Library will be happy to make copies of articles from newspaper
microfilm and mail the copies to you. For this service we charge $15
for each article copied, which you may send before or after you receive
your copy.
